  • Provided leadership, support and inspiration to Hinkley’s multi-functional design team with the goal of concepting and delivering great work that is on strategy, on time and within budget

  • Managed the entire production process including scoping, kickoff, concepting, internal reviews, execution, production and delivery

  • Lead the design and evolution of 21 proprietary brands, establishing templates for use by all designers and vendors

  • Established and enforced new brands' names, logos, and style guidelines and worked with outside teams to update branding and establish complete guidelines for acquired companies

  • As lead catalog designer, designed and produced more than 20 national catalogs, both manually and with automation software, from 20 to 1130 pages, allowing catalog production to be brought in house

  • Developed style guides and SOPs for brands and catalogs; trained associates on InDesign, proofing processes, and catalog production

  • Implemented new department communication with Microsoft Sway and Microsoft Forms, increasing visibility of department and company initiatives, processes, and updates

  • Supervised and trained more than 30 sailors, leading to increased efficiency and productivity department-wide and assisting in sailors’ career advancements and qualifications

  • Designed and produced more than 350 command-wide graphics and products, more than 300 daily newspapers, and provided event coverage, leading to Navy-wide recognition as Outstanding Graphic Designer

  • Conceptualized and produced high-quality products for both international and high-visibility Navy events

  • Enhanced the department and ship’s reputation by developing and implementing a new line of products for the Distinguished Visitor program
